    I have had DSL now since about the begining of 2008, I got the 23.99 package as I do not want to be locked into a term contract. Modem will only sync up to 768kbps and that is pushing it. I am about 14000' from nearest CO. My package is the 1.5mbps/386kbps. Could have gone for the 768 package but as stated do not want a term contract. Just wish I could get close to 1mbps on my line. Only getting about 614 out of the 768 I can connect too. A bit disappointing but I really do not like cable so I will deal with it.
