Value for money:

Fast hookup and bang for your buck seems SBC has improved there DSL service by leaps and bounds from the what use to be inept service.
Update: About three weeks and I still have the same IP address and the connection has been solid.
4-14-2004: SBC Yahoo DSL still and $27 for 1.5 megabits is great price or $45 for 3 to 6 megabits is even better. Service has been rock solid, no outages.
11-15-2004: 1500~256 is still $26.95 and 3000~384 is $36.95.
Well they lowered the price and now for $14.95 you get 1500/384 and for $24.95 you get 3000/512. That's low and I have to say a GREAT deal.
Well they lowered the price again and increased the speed. 1500/384 is $12.99 and 3000/512 is $17.99
AT$T is still dragging their feet when it comes to deploying fiber. Verizon is way ahead with their Fios project.
Prices have gone back up to $24.95 for 3000/512.

For the love of baby Jesus upgrade you network so third world countries don't pass us by!!!
$25 for 6000/512 is ripoff now and friends with Fios laugh about how slow it is...SBC promised a 100 megabit network by 2009 but everyone knew they were lying.
$25 for 5200/512 is still a ripoff. I could get U-verse but it's really expensive, $68 for 24mbps and the upload speed is 1.5mbps.
Raised prices to $40 for 6000/512 service and imposing bandwidth caps starting May 2, 2011. GOODBYE AT&T !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
