Update 10-10-10

Connection slows down, on average, to 1Mb during peak times and latency doubles. That's are little better than a cell card. Latency jumps from about 30ms to as high as 125ms during these times.

Connection is no longer consistently usable for many purposes. It still works OK for email, vpn, and VoIP, but is too slow for video and most high bandwidth uses.

After 10 calls and 10 hours on the phone, they finally switched me to a new redback and fixed the problem.

update 10-2-11
ATT raised pricing from $20 to $43. Along with the caps, DSL is obsolete, Uverse still not available for me. Disconnected and went to Comcast business.
