Got the modem in the mail, waited until they said they would come to set up the service at the house (whatever they have to do). They never showed up, called SBC, turns out they came like 3 days early but didn't' tell us. Service has been rock steady ever since we got it, which was 11 months ago.
Update (10/6/05): Recently upgraded to the Pro package. Twice the speed for $4 less per month! Rock solid performance. Only been down once, when the RT threw a card.
Update (12/16/07): Still works great, recently changed modems from the Speedstream 5100a (still worked) to a 2wire model I got off ebay so I could have line stats.
