Been with Ameritech for about 6 years. I perform system and network management for a local small business and need a reliable hi-speed connection to remotely monitor the operation. Looked at Wireless Internet, Comcast and Ameritech asservice providers, Ameritech has a better performance to price ratio. Other employees are using Comcast with seems to be very unreliable. Usually get up to 1.5Mbps down from AT&T and second tier support is very good when there is a problem. If I do get a bad tech on the phone, I call back later to get someone else. Initially provided with a Speedstream 5260(?) now using a Speedstream 4100 (last 2 years). Currently getting 768kbps and am investigating the cause of the problem (other than get a new modem).
