    Started with the 192k tier back in 2004. Upgraded in 2005 thanks to SBC Direct forum to 384k. Upgraded yet again in 2006 thanks to SBC Direct (or was it AT&T direct at that time) to 768k tier. Would love to get 1.5Mbps (may try again this coming Spring) but for the price in this area I am quite satisfied. Back in 2004 the order and install process was painless - I did a home run of cable from modem to NID.

    The AT&T Direct forum is wonderful - I have only ONCE had to call support (line was down) and much prefer the online support over having to call someone that may or may not speak English.
