    Update: 4/12/2009

I have been on the Elite Speed for almost about two weeks straight without an issue also it has been warm out for the past couple days but it seemed that the speed went faster. People have been telling me the copper will heat up and will supposely making my speed slower and my modem would be able to support the speed. My speeds are currently 5.2MBPS which is not bad I don't want the full 6MBPS.

    UPDATE 3/2/2009

I have been arguing with DSL retention to get me back on the elite speed since a dumbass tech downgraded me because he thought my line wasn't capable of handling any dsl speeds without coming out here. He was at Chicago when he checked the specs. Now I have been upgraded back to the elite speed with a cheaper deal of $30.00 per month which is awesome 5 dollars less than regularly priced.

Right now I just upgraded to the Elite speed for $35.00. I was currently under the Pro Speed for $20.00 promo with no contract. The service was up and running the day I called them. I originally had a speedstream modem until they replaced it with a Motorola 2100 I believe and haven't had issues with it. And the good experiences with this DSL service that I haven't really got any connection issues until upgrading to the Pro speed a couple months back then here I am again trying it out again.
