I tried lingo 2 years ago, and my wife wouldn't use it. She'd use her cell phone, waiting for cheap rates (nite or weekend) before going long distance or maybe do a cheap dialing service.
We dropped it, just relying on bellsouth. Then she/we decided to try Sun Rocket this past year. Clicking, echo, no voice on one side or the other has been frequent. I kept telling her to be patient.
She spends about 20x more time on the phone than me. But when 'bad' happened to me I tend to get furious. And 'bad' is frequent.
I suppose we will go back to bellsouth... switching back the phone# we've had for years... and just use the voip as a toy until the 1 year thing expires.
Many moons later - sunrocket - belly up :-(
Back to lingo. But now their rates are going up - just like Bell South.
