I am a former Peak Internet customer (one of the first) and suffered through some growing pains, I didn't mind 'too much' as they were first on scene with BB.
Now I am assisting friends in the Florissant area work with the new Mesa Networks (formerly Peak Internet). They have wireless I/O to the Mt. Pisgah (Cripple Creek) tower [static IP]. My friends have spent weeks troubleshooting a Vonage service/quality issue with Mesa, Vonage, Linksys, etc. Internet/data was working fine. I suspected packet loss as root cause but never isolated. Finally Mesa (thankfully) admitted to overloaded BW on the tower. They reported Nov-16 as target date for upgrade to the tower and 'likely' improvements to VoIP customers. I will run QOS && Availabilty tests before and after for comparison and recommendations. Hopefully this is good news for all.
25+ years experience in service delivery and engineering advice: Customer (networking) knowledge should not be a factor in service delivery.
Keep on truckin' Mesa Networks,
SteelFish
