    good response to phone calls , if they are home. (They go home at night , like you and me)
    They just provide a connection. They now have equipment in Eugene.
    They do have some email and web stuff but I didn't care about that.

    I picked them because of good rep and they would provide a bridge connection rather than just PPPOE. The DSL modem feeds a linux firewall box (iptables on Slack 11.0 2.6.17) with two ethernet cards which then feed a switch for the users in the house (10baseT)

    The monthly cost is higher than some because I have a higher speed line with static IP. Qwest gets 28.00 of the 47.99.

    I have used them for a number of years and will continue.

    Qwest has improved the local lines , or so it would seem. Lot of bucket trucks in March.

    Still going fine. no problems.
