Rock solid connection, one outage in 3 years.
Costs a bit more than Verizon's current offering.
Still the gold standard for business DSL in the DC area

As of January, 2012, I have no clients currently using Covad/MegaPath. I was completely satisfied with the service at the non-profits I had using it. The ones that didn't go under or merge with larger organizations during the worst of the economic downturn I moved to Verizon business bundles to save them money. I will certainly consider MegaPath's offerings in the future.

Covad Communication

I am not sure how lucky you . Maybe you are working for Covad to post such a nice note.
I was transfered to Covad from ATT and did not have but problems with this company.
When I had no service for three weeks , Covad could not solve the problem and blamed it on my computers. Eventhough I used three different ones with the same results.
Their Tech Support was very inexperienced and unhelpful. All they gave you just words without any results.
At the end I switched to FIOS with excellent results with same monthly payment.
The worst of all, Covad went after me for breach of contract eventhough I did not sign any contract and it was their fault. They should have instead refunded me for not having internet service for a month.
Bottom line, do not use this company. They are just a rip off and they are only after your money.

Dear Joe

I am an independent consultant. I was in no way associated with, or compensated by, Covad. My experience with them at over 2 dozen clients here in Washington DC was excellent. That doesn't mean others can't/won't have problems but their support was so much better to deal with than Verizon's. That said, I cannot wait for the part of town where my clients and I are located to finally have FiOS available...supposed to be only another year or 2 now.
