Updating my old review, since I can't post a new one. My old one for AT&T Southwest was not nice, because I never got it activated correctly in Bryant. They DID credit my account, because I had no problem reordering in Benton (they didn't say I owe anything anyway).

I have had MUCH better luck down here. I called Thursday, 2/22/2010, and by Friday at 8pm the service was activated, and Saturday morning I was up and running.

Speeds are decent, 3-4mbit, but working on getting more, I'm not sure if it is AT&T's end or mine, I'm going to be replacing the home lines with a homerun Cat5e. The current 4-wire line also seems to run right behind the outside electrical outlets, so that may have something to do with it.

I will say this though, even with the low signal and random disconnects, it is ALOT faster than Charter's 20m/2m package we had. You can feel the better responsiveness. Hopefully replacing the old 4-wire line will help, but I have asked AT&T to run a line test just in case.

I am MUCH happier this time around.

As for pricing, in Benton, AR, we get Elite (6m/768k) for $35, plus since we have DirecTV, we get another $5 off. You can't beat dedicated bandwidth for $30.
