I had 3M before and I had checked for the higher speed previously and thought that I had asked to be informed when it was available. When I checked on the 7M service last time it was available and within 7 days I had the faster speed. Verizon sent me a new modem and after 15 min. with a very helpful tech guy I was up and running. That has been a month ago and I have not had any problems since then. Verizon also got me to sign up for the combination of phone, direct TV and dsl for a very good overall price. I received phone calls and emails from them checking on their service. I have had Verizon DSL for over 5 years and have been very happy with their service.
