After being a long time Cogeco user, the constant drop in speeds to unusable levels forced me to look for a new ISP.

I knew a single DSL line couldn't reach the same maximum levels as a cable line could but I was more interested in a constant high speed line that would allow me to enjoy most features of the Internet no matter what the time of day.

So far, 3 weeks with Teksavvy and the service has been excellent. No matter what time of day I get a constant 4.3Mbps download speed which is more than adequate. Although I'm not a huge downloader, the 200GB limit is much more than the previous 60GB I had with Cogeco and I won't have to worry about checking to make sure I go over the limit each month.

I did have a small issue that my password was wrong on startup, (was what I asked for but confirmation email had mistake), but online TSI support quickly found the issue and been surfing problem free since.

At $30 a month, couldn't be happier.

Update: Although I never had any issues with Teksavvy and it's staff, I had to leave since we moved phone service and the cost of a dry loop made this option no longer feasible. Additionally, since Bell hasn't updated lines in my area (Teksavvy uses their lines), the slower speeds just doesn't work in a growing household of internet products.

Re: Review

Why not just acquire TSI cable ? You don't need a dryloop with that . And the price is likely cheaper then DSL ....
