I had DSL through a different Bell re-seller but was getting inconsistent service and a terrible connection. At first I switched over to Teksavvy's DSL service, but still couldn't get a connection, due to some bad phone lines in the house. At the same time TSI announced on the forum that they were taking test connections for their Cable service in my area, so I decided to give that a shot. All of the support staff on their direct forum are amazing, by the way. Set up wasn't exactly smooth, for some reason it didn't get properly scheduled and the CSR I spoke to on the phone was less than friendly, but after one delay and a bit of a fight with my cable lines on the day of installation, things were up and going. Oh, and I got to step into their head office where I picked up my modem in order to skip on the shipping costs. Overall a very polite and helpful group of people. Since then? No issues. The service hasn't dropped once, I'm consistently getting the advertised speeds (14mb/s with 300gb cap, $37.95+ tax) even through what I expected to be times of high congestion. It is a great service at what I consider a great price, and I would recommend them to anyone. EDIT: Been a cable customer since January. I've increased my score for the install coordination to reflect how well my recent speed upgrade went, and the great support that I got throughout the process. Their support team is the best I've come across. Glad that Chatham is home to such a great company. member for 13.3 years, 181 visits, last login: 7 years ago updated 11.1 years ago
