I have been a Verizon FIOS customer for 5 years and have generally been happy with the service. About 8 weeks ago I was sort of told by Verizon that I needed to upgrade to Quantum because of where I lived and was promised that I would see 4x the speeds I was used to (BTW I had no issues with what I had). Verizon FIOS is complete rubbish and I'm about to cancel the service because I'm so frustrated with it and Verizon. It is like going back to dial up, I can no longer watch videos, at times it is just unavailable and when it is it is almost unusable> Thank god for my ATT wifi hot spot. I have tried calling Verizon about it and either I don't have the hours needed to wait on the phone for an operator or I'm told that there is nothing wrong with the service, I have even asked to go back to what I had, with n effect.
