    My Other Reviews·Comcast
    November 03, 2003

With the recent speed increase by Comcast, I could not resist any long. So by the 19th of this month (3 days before billing) I will be leaving Qwest. Heck I now have 3000/256 for $45.95/mo ( that includes modem rental) after the three month intro of $19.95/mo. For Qwest I currently pay $31.95 for DSL + $21.95 for Qwest.net StarterPak + $3.95 for an extra mailbox for a total of $57.85. Comcast saves me 11.90 a month.

Hey Comcast, I would stay wit hyou, even at your inflated price if you offered 1500/384!!!

    March 20,2003.

Well, it has been over a year and my DSL still rocks. Ther ehave been two minor interruptions, each less than an hours in over a year. I constantly receive almost 90% of the advertisied speed.

All in all, an excellent experience. My only wish is for a higher base speed.

From order to activation of the DSL was 16 days. They goofed on my StarterPak account and I had to wait another week to get that activated, but all in all the service was great. And I do not have to deal with MSN!

I have 640/256 DSL Deluxe with dynamic IP addessing. Tech support was informative and cooperative, but then I did not have a brain-twister for them.

I just came from @Home/Comcast where lack of information reigns and tech support sounds like they are AOL rejects.

I would not mind getting 1500/256 like some other DSL-ISP's offer, but I won't complain about what I do have.

Well, its been over 6 months since my first review and my comments still apply. I had one outage for about 3 hours and slow email for about 10 hours, but no other problems. Nice, rock solid connection with consistant speed.

It's been a year and I have only had one outage that lasted just under 30min.

Still rocking in September 2003. No outages since last report in March.

Went to Comcast/At Home in November 2003. Could not ingore the speed difference.
