    Formerly 1.5mbps/1024kbps Qwest service w/ static IP. When available, I ordered Titanium service (12Mbps/896kbps) on a Wed and had new Motorola Netopia modem and service the following Wed. I bridged PPPoE into my own IPCop router/firewall without issue. Speeds are consistently as advertised (less overhead) and latency is much better than before as shown in the broadbandreports.com speed tests:

    The price I'm paying for my new service is (supposedly) only $8.00 more that I was paying previously. I say supposedly because I haven't received my new bill. We'll see.
