Reliabilty: I have had Qwest 1.5Mb DSL service for about 2.5 at this location. I have only lost service once in that period, and had it resolved within about 24 hours. Our ped was buried in snow last year and so everything got wet and shorted when it melted.

Speed: I'm tired of 1.5Mb speed. However, I never see slow downs and always get every last kb my modem can dish out - very unlike Comcast in this area who seems to be very oversubscribed. Come on Qwest, how long until you spend a few bucks?

Price: Slightly more and usually slower than Comcast, but less BS.

    1.5dsl

66 seams high I only pay 20bucks after bundle savings for the same speed in washington A good deal at 20 anymore not really worth it compared to cable when it works correctly? or off peak hours! it's atleast twice the speed of my dsl. 1.5 is max speed I can get also at my house, my neighbor gets 7mbps

Be glad you can get 1.5!

I've been stuck at 640K for years now, with no hope of infrastructure upgrades anytime soon.

Heck, Qwest's on-line line qualification software says I should only be able to get 256K, so I'm lucky I can train at 640K.

I'm going to give Comcast a try and see if it's really as bad as many people have been saying it is.

I don't want to leave Qwest - their service has been great and reliable - but 640K is hardly anything in an era where OS software updates are regularly over 400 MB in size and the $49.99/month I pay ($29 for DSL, $29 for the ISP) doesn't help any.
