I was considering the local Muscatine power for Cable modem, of speeds of 3000/512 but it was more expensive and I found reading their website a 3 gig limit, with over charges! So I will just get basic cable from them.
I got the Naked DSL for 37 bucks a month. I qualified fro 1500/896 And I get 1340-1350/680 not as fast as what I had come from but its enough.
I did the self installment, would have only taken 5 hours but my APT # was skipped so I had to wait for property management people to settle it out.
Pings are a little weird does not allow me to do a tracert (Could be Vista i just install) but I ping in the low 100's for most sites and 60-90 for local. And I am on a wireless router.
Other then the normal no matter where except Verizon the I was more knowledgeable then 2 out of the 3 people I talk to.
I am happy You get what you pay for and for this area and for my needs the stability of the connect is what I am paying for.

Bremerton, WA | your dsl also you are getting max speed. probably 1.7mbps at your isp. by the time the ping gets to your modem you lose a few #'s. Gateway's etc/ | |
