This is an update from my first Sonic review from almost 10 years ago. And no, I am not a Sonic employee or related to anyone in the company.

I just upgraded my Sonic DSL service to Sonic.Net Fusion which bundles my AT&T landline and upgrades my DSL to ADSL2+. The upgrade was extremely simple, efficient, and virtually transparent. My AT&T phone number was transferred to Sonic along with my current service package and my download speeds increased from 5.2Mbs down on a 6Mbs line to 21.2Mbs on a 20Mbs line (capped at 22Mbs)! Of course being only 3500 copper feet from my CO helps. With the same phone service, almost a 4x increase in speed, trouble-free upgrade, and at a cost of about $50/month (resulting in an almost $80/savings!), I am still (10 years later) a very satisfied customer of Sonic. And the $39.95 (plus taxes) per month charge is not an introductory rate. That's the normal monthly cost.
