Easy. Install was as simple as plugging in the modem when it arrived in the mail, and the speed about doubled. After a couple of months, some problem with AT&T's lines knocked us off line - took a few days to get AT&T to take the issue seriously and sort it out (Sonic support was real good about this) but when they did, my speed went up another 50%. I'm still not up to the average speed for my distance from the CO, but I'll pursue that soon (I get 3.7 Mbps at 9000 feet, average is somewhere close to 6, and I was getting 1.2 from AT&T). In any case I'm pretty happy. The phone features are cool, kinda scary at first when our phone suddenly started to announce callers by name (fusion comes with the fancy caller id features built in). It's great that Sonic's CEO posts regularly here and on the Sonic forum and blogs. I moved from AT&T dsl to Sonic Fusion mainly to make life simpler. We had 2 phone lines and separate dsl left over from years of working at home. Fusion allowed us to keep our main number and get a faster dsl speed for about a quarter of what we had been paying.
