First off, let me disclaim that I am not in any way affiliated with Speakeasy and the claims to my experience are in no way exaggerated.
That said, I am completely amazed with the system Speakeasy has put together. I was able to enter some basic information into their website, they detected the distance from my place to the CO and told me which options were available. I chose 1500 Mbps/256 Kbps which was the best option available to me as I am over 12000 feet from the CO. (Cable companies don't provide service to my area at all, and the phone company will only support 384 Kbps down!)
From the moment I went through the web ordering system, I was instantly given my e-mail account and access to their order status system. The order status system for this thing is top notch. At no point was I sitting there wondering where my order was, there were over a dozen updates from start to finish. At any time I was able to check to see what step they were on.
Day one I received all of my configuration information, my e-mail account and access to the member site.
Day two they shipped the self-install kit from COVAD which included a ZyXel modem, RJ-45 cable and 4-5 2Wire DSL filters - NICE! It even contained return billing labels in case there was a mistake.
Day three I watched as the phone company connected the loop and COVAD hooked me up.
Day four I plugged in my laptop, modem and configured the IP stack - done. My speeds were 1311 Kbps down and 330 Kbps up - not bad at all, and a little bit faster than most of the people on COVAD in my area.
In addition, I wrote the company on my fourth day explaining my experience and they personally contacted me the same day in return to thank me and ask me if there was anything else I needed. !!! 
What can I say? Four days from no service to DSL including shipping the equipment, organizing loop installation and performing the configuration and installation. AWESOME!!
