UPDATE 4/2/2008 After many years of good service we're cancelling only because we're going to use our T1 with dialup failover for our sole biz connection. Kudos to Verizon.

    -----

Pre-Sales Info (5): Online information provided was accurate and I just placed the order online

Install (5): Modem showed up within a few days, long before the provisioning date. Gave us plenty of time to install the splitter at our building NID.

Connection Reliability (5): A big 5 because I'm well outside the normal Cu loop limits of Verizon. A database discrepancy allowed me to order. Thankfully I have lines just clean enough to stay synced. 6-9dB interleaved, borderline, but just good enough for 768/128 provisioning with interleaving. Service has been stable for the 4 years I've had it.

Tech Support (-): Not rated because I've never had to call them. And I will try to avoid at all costs because any problem will be blamed on 19,200 Cu ft loop Of course they would likely be right.

Services (5): Service is extremely cheap for business class service. There aren't as may extras as there are with residential. Included in my $30+junk fees plan
1 dyn IP (DHCP), 24/7 support, 10 email addresses, no web space, no dial-up time (offered for $9/mo for 50 hrs, a rip-off), free install (with the online order) and free modem.

Value for money (5): You simply can't beat $30 plus about $2 in junk fees for business DSL service, especially around here.

It's great by itself, but even worth it for a backup. We're using it as a backup for our T1 or when we need to test remote access setups. Overall while I've read about lots a problems with Verizon DSL, my connection has been stable and I would recommend them since they have a money back guarantee (30 days I think) if you aren't happy.

Provided Modem is a Westell 6100 bridged.
Package is Business 768/128 DHCP for $29.99 + about $2 in junk fees + POTS
