After a few delays because of equipment shortages, finally got my DSL hooked up on 11/18/99. Very pleased with service. Price is $39.99 a month + $10.00 for ISP, $198 equipment charge, free installation. Dynamic IP address with the 384k down / 128k up package. Consistantly running 800-1100k down. Located 13,000 from C.O. Comes with Alctel 1000 ASDL modem, Kingston Network card, and POTS splitter which was sent UPS and had to be signed for. I prewired everything and installed network card before tech arrived. Tech was here about 20 mins to double check everything, turned on the modem and was online with the DSL. Running Winproxy with 3 other computers behind a firewall computer. Works great! Much better service than I was expecting after reading other reviews on the internet. It pays to read alot before using this service.
