When I moved to Downtown Savannah 5 years ago, I found very few DSL options besides Bellsouth or Comcrap. I don't like Cable TV, so I had no need for that either.

I found DSC here on DSLReports and was connected within 6 Business days. They let me provide my own modem (Alcatel Speedtouch Home), provide a static IP that I regularly use for running an FTP server between my home office and office, and have no port restrictions on the connections. I have business class service at my home office. We use all our own equipment, so I do not know what hardware the ISP provides for other customers. They did not offer "Dry" DSL at the time, but I am informed they now do.

I have 3Mb up / 1.5Mb down that translates to a solid 3Mbps up / 786Kbps down in real world settings. Their DNS is consistently rock solid and does not send you to a page filled with Ad's.

Their support of Business level service has been exceptional. I find most problems are corrected within 3 hours of a call, even on weekends They do not treat people with moderate to advanced knowledge of Telco service like morons with statements like "Have you tried unplugging the modem?" They will happily discuss issues such as line attenuation & dB noise factors. They support real PPoE w/ a RADIUS server without locking it to the modem hardware ID, allowing for real bridged connections when using OpenWRT or DD-WRT routers.

Ping times when relaxing (Why hello Left 4 Dead) are around 32ms consistent.

Bellsouth here in downtown Savannah loves to reboot / reconnect other providers DSLAM equipment only after their own customers have restored service when the summer blackouts occur during lightning storms.

We are now going on year 5 with them as our ISP and I thought it was time I got around to giving them a review.
