I would like it to be known how pleased I am with the service I received
from Volocom (ISP) and their CLEC partner Network Access Solutions (NAS).
Since early December, 2000 I have been trying to get SDSL (384K) service
(nearly three months). Unfortunately, I started with one of the larger ISPs
and the leading DSL carrier / CLEC. After countless cancellations and
missed appointments, I was enventually told that I did not qualify for SDSL
service (because I was more than 15,000 feet from the central office), but
that I could be downgraded to IDSL (144K). To this day, the "big boys" have
not delivered on even that. Volocom and its CLEC partner NAS completed the
job from initial order to up-and-running in four weeks, including time
needed for Verizon to correct a line problem. While I've only had service
for a little over a week, it's been rock solid. My contract service speed
is 384K. My tested throughput has been generally around 381K (up)/377K
(down), though sometimes slower during "rush hours". Results count.
In addition to results, customer relations also count for a great deal.
Both Volocom and the original ISP did a good job. The same can not be said
for the other CLEC/DSL carrier. In particular, NAS, along with its
sub-contractors, did an outstanding job. As is nearly always the case with
getting DSL set up, we ran into any number of glitches along the way. At
every turn Volocom gave me good, clear and honest information about the
nature of the problem and the timing and manner of its resolution. The NAS
technicians who worked on the job were uniformly competent and professional.
It's been very refreshing dealing with the entire Volocom team.
I give them the highest recommendation.

I signed up for Volocom 384 DSL over 3 months ago and I got the service within 30 days to my home business. Install group was great they followed up with me once a week to let me know what was going on with my install. Once the circuit was installed it ran great. I did have some small technical issues and the tech support group was very responsive and professional in solving my problems.
I also host my website with Volocom and the hosting has been rock solid. If you are interested in reliable business class DSL and great webhosting use this ISP!

I signed up on January 4th and was told 30 - 45 days for the installation. The folks at Volocom called every week to give me a status update (even if there was nothing to report). The installation happened on February 5th. Everything went smoothly and according to plan. I have been up for a couple of weeks now and have been extremely impressed with the service to date. I haven't experienced any outages and bandwidth has met or exceeded my contract speed.
These guys are a class outfit and I would highly recommend them to any business with dsl or other internet needs.

We purchased a 1 year contract for SDSL service from Volocom in April of this year. We have been MORE than satisified with their service. Every technical issue is followed up constantly until it is solved. They are a great B2B company that can handle ANY bandwidth need. Their DSL line provider is NAS (Network Access) which guarantees a FULL 2MB SDSL line within 8000 ft of a CO! We purchased the full 2MB SDSL line and performance has been great. We have never had any latency issues or bandwidth bottlenecks. They provided an industry leading DSL router (Ascend) at no additional cost and are giving us as many IP's FOR FREE as we can justify! In all, I'm glad we found this great company to be our business ISP.

Volocom offers incredibly reliable SDSL service. Admittedly, they
provided very reliable ISDN service to my company prior to offering DSL. It
appears that I'm able to achieve the throughput to which I've subscribed. And on the few occasions that there have been problems with the service, they've been handled as quickly as possible with professionalism and a real attention to customer satisfaction. For example, they are the ONLY ISP who has ever called me to tell me about a problem BEFORE I called them. I strongly recommend them to any small business considering subscribing to SDSL.
