Outstanding service and price. I get two static IP's and no hassle. Their service plans anticipated what I needed and gave it to me at a price I could afford. The things I have been able to do with my account have been astounding! Their Grapevine office is right across the street from the Verizon POP and the connections have been very clean. They only block two ports (which cut my number of malicious exploit probes way down and should be blocked anyway!). Every time I have had a question or challenge they have had an answer.
Fantastic value and a can do attitude make this ISP a keeper.
I have also had very good luck with Verizon DSL support here in Grapevine and I like the way they handle themselves. Trouble reports over the years have been effectively and efficiently handled and the only equipment failure I ever had was fixed in a day and a half when they offered over night delivery! Good crew. I have been with Verizon here in Grapevine, Texas through a second line Modem, ISDN, and now ADSL and they are responsive, knowledgeable, and thorough - they even fixed a problem once before I saw it and they fixed it in the rain!
APPLINK is my fifth ISP in four years and by far the best, not only because of their people, but also because of their "real world" pricing structure. They are the only ISP I have found that understands what I really, really need, and has a service offering to match. Internet access by people who actually access the internet.

I switched to Applink when rumors of Directlink getting our of the ISP business were going around. I wanted a local ISP (Dallas area) that provided static IPs and would let me run my own servers. Applink provides 2 statics and 2 email accounts with the package; I got the Bronze Plus (768Kb/128Kb).
The monthly cost includes $32.50 for the Verison DSL service. Applink had me setup with accounts and a dial-up connection days before Verizon reconnected my circuit to Applink. There was no installation fee as I paid annually for the ISP charges.
I've had no problems with Applink's service, but Verizon's connection is terrible. The modem (Fujitsu Speedport) often loses sync several times a day or when I pick up the phone. Some days it works fine other days it's down for hours with a blinking modem light. By the time I call in for service, and a tech comes out..... it's working again.

I am a user of Applink ADSL service and notices that your report shows that pricing is stale it is not it is very current. The service from Applink is second to none. I had Verizon ADSL before Applink and My download speed has doubled for the same package. Dealing With the president of the company was unexpected but He was very helpful. Roy Neese is very knowligeable about net working and computers in general. He give ohnest and truefull answers to questions.
