I have 1699Access for about a month now and it is great. I also recommended it at work and they love it too. I use to have Bell Atlantic DSL, they suck... Technical support has no idea how thier systems work, they use PPPOE technology wich suck big time (slow when not down), and can not get static ip for home service. I am a Network Engineer and needed a dedicated connection for home with static ip address, but didn't want to pay high price for business DSL to get the static ips. 1699Access support is great, they helped me with the information I needt to setup my network. Very good connection...

I have had an excellent experience with 1699 Access. I had previously
subscribed to another ISP using Covad, and 144kbs was the maximum speed that I had. I tried that out, and I switched back to cable. Well, I dont want to say much about cable and cable companies but it is not really a pleasant experience. I needed to replace my line quickly and I called several ISPs and I was told 4 to 8 weeks installation time. 1699 Access expedited my installation to almost 4 weeks. I really appreciate their efforts. 1699 Access tech support and Covad technician on site did a great job.

I have used AOL for years. I didn't want to lose my Screen Name. I wanted a DSL company that supported AOL, and 1699 Access was the first place I found. The phone company told me there was some sort of 'loop problem but I called 1699 Access and they managed to straighten that out. It took Covad several visits to finally install it, but they finally did get it working. The support was good, and I am now using AOL at a million times the speed! I am looking to buy a house within a year so the month to month agreement works great.

I have been looking to get a dsl connection for my business for the past six month.
I signed up with verio then; and had a lot of back and forth problem with Verio and Nothpoint and Bell south. They keep posponding appointments and that was a full time job to figure out what they were doing. I cancelled Verio and signed up with 1699 Access and it took them about 3 weeks to get an appointment from Bell South and then a week after installation by Covad. Covad technician was very curtious and 1699 Access Technical support walked me through to connect my 11 computers network. I love the connection speed and for the price of $179 per month for 384 sdl I am getting my domain name web hosting + 20 email accounts. That is great. I also received a Netopia router that I think is more superior the flowpoint. Thanks to you folks at 1699 Access.
