Value for money:

    - Ordered 384/128 (CO based, 15,800 ft).
    - Received Cayman 3546 router and filters within five days
    - Plugged in, DSL came right up
    - am on ramp-up - started 192/128, now 384/128
    - static IP (free upon request...otherewise its dynamic)
    - PPPOE
    - $34.99/mo

So far I'm quite happy. Speeds are as advertised.

UPDATE: Line checked clean and I was able to order 1536/160 service, which I now have. Working just great!

UPDATE 11-1-03: As of a week or two ago I am now on the rate-adaptive profile. 1500/128-256!

UPDATE 11-18-03: Over the past weekend I received my upgrade to 1.5-6.0/384-608. Profile #33 according to ASI. Download speeds were phenomenal - about 5.2 mbit.

The problem was that even though I synced at 6016/608, I couldn't achieve an upload speed greater than 200 kbit.

Had my profile lowered to 1.5-4.0/384 fixed, and now I achieve ~3.24 Mbit / 324 kbit. Working like a charm!

Due to my extended distance (anywhere between 12,000 - 15,000 feet - more likely closer to 12,000) my experience with the higher packages has been awesome. If I were one to download a lot of huge files I might have stuck with 6 Mbit downloads and sacrificed uploads, but having a faster upload is more important to me due to my need to use many interactive applications for work.

UPDATE: 01-25-05 Pricing has been revamped. Now offering 1.5/256 for $29.99 over a one year term. Static IP included free upon request, otherwise dynamic. netblock of 8 IPs or more available. I chose a 16 IP netblock for my routed connection.

Had only one problem since last review, and when I called Support they had indicated that a dispatch was needed and that it would be the next day. But to my surprise it was back up the same day. Totally satisfied.
