    I've have nothing but trouble with Bell Atlantic but the support from
    DCA.net has been exemplary. They suggested that I wait until Covad had my
    central office provisioned but I was in a hurry to get rid of my residential
    ISDN service, with an acute "need for speed". Craig suggested, if I wanted
    an exercise in frustration, to order Bell Atlantic Infospeed DSL service
    and as soon as I got connected to Bell Atlantic.net to call and scrap BA.net
    and switch to DCA.net. They talked me through every step and the transition
    was painless. See my review of Bell Atlantic for the rest of the story. If
    you want a quick preview, I spent over 25 hours on the phone with Bell
    Atlantic complaining about poor throughput at about 385Kbps. I got the royal
    run-around for over a month until I finally got the Wilmington Service
    manager involved. He spent three hours on a conference call with myself and
    at least seven people at Bell Atlantic before we convinced them that they
    had a problem and not DCA.net. They finally got me up to speed at about
    1.3Mbps. A week later I was back down to 385Kbps. I didn't even bother to
    call Bell Atlantic this time, I just called Bill at DC.net. He opened a
    trouble ticket with Bell and the problem was fixed within 24 hours.

    DCA.net stands behind their ISP service and their customer service is way
    beyond the call of duty. I couldn't ask for a better ISP.

    what can I say? these people are in the business of being an OUTSTANDING
    business.

    keep in mind I'm a residential customer, not a commercial customer, so I
    shouldn't even expect them to bend to my will. but they do. they have
    never said no to anything I have ever asked them to do, with one exception,
    and that was because Covad said no, originally they said yes, but had to
    change their answer because of Covad.

    technical support: not only did Jason answer my isp related questions, he
    let me pick his brain of general network information.

    side note: I saw the president of DCANet give a lecture in Philly, and he is
    one of the coolest up front, no BS people you will find.

    minor problem: DCANet had some trouble with their border gateways, I was
    connected to DCANet's network and could see all their machines, but couldn't
    get to the internet. the up side of this problem is they had it fixed in
    record time both times it happened, and I haven't had this problem lately,
    so it looks like they resolved their problem.

    Hi, just signed up for highspeed DSL and man is great DCAnet support was
    great walked me through the setup and viola online at last.

    Their technical support never got angry or frustrated with my stupid
    questions.
