Unfortunately, this is the ONLY provider in our office complex. So, we are forced to use them. We have been told it will be a few more months until DSL is available, which we will make a fast switch away from Final Connect.
Downtime is rare, maybe once every 2 months or so, but when it happens its a nightmare. We waited almost 4 days for our connection to be restored.
The tech support they offer is some of the worst. Regardless of what they say, they do *NOT* offer 24 hour support, they don't even offer 8x5 support. ANY time you call the tech support number you will be presented with a voicemail box that claims they are busy helping other customers. Typical response time is 12 - 24 hours.
The support email address they provide _sometimes_ has better results.
Even worse then not have any options, is being locked into 1 provider that you can't complain about service to. We have not complained due to fear of being disconnected, which would pretty much kill the company.
