Everyone I spoke to at GTI was great. Filled out the order form on the Web had service during the following week. We got a great 768 circuit with static ips. Running our security camera over them at night, they work great. NO hiccups so far. Thought the blackout would cream us but once the power was on in our office in Newark, we were right back up to speed. The tech guy was great, one of the sharpest guys i have spoken with. if these guys service your area go with them.

I have been working with GTI as my DSL provider for close to a year.
They have provided me with excellent customer service, enhanced
capabilities (as compared to Verizon), and were the most cost effective.
In today's society this is saying a lot! There is no such thing as
customer service. So when you combine customer service with competitive
pricing you have a winning combination.

We run two business from the same location, our home. Each business is=
over 20 years old. We have an ethernet network with 4 workstations.
Using dial up became a real challenge as we became more dependent on
the internet. My wife is a Homeopath, runs a school, clinic and is an
author. Her work involves a lot of research via the internet. I run a
referral marketing business with distributors in 4 countries. 90% of my=
work is on the phone and internet.
GTI has been my provider for many years. Their support and reliability=
has become the foundation of our internet access. They have never let
me down. They are predictably accessible. Because of this I spoke to
them about DSL service. They made it so easy to make the transition I
could not refuse. We have been using GTI DSL service now for over 4
months. During this time we have never had a problem, at all. Their
service continues to be impeccable.
If you rely on your internet access and great customer service GTI is
the company for you.

We had to move to Dayton from Edison and were looking for DSL services with static ip. We run some services and have a need for static ip. Our previous ISP was not offering the DSL service in Dayton and it turned out that there is not a single ISP (from the lot that we contacted) other than GTI that was offering dsl service with static ip in Dayton area.
We also wanted to make sure that there is no interruption of service for our existing customers. We are glad that we contacted GTI, they really came through for us. GTI contacted Verizon (who is the CLEC) verified with them the availability of DSL services and scheduled a technician to come in within a weeks time. They have promptly supplied us hardware and the static ip info and when the dsl installation is completed, their technicians helped us configure our linux based servers. Overall we are very happy with the response and service we got.

I would like to post this review of GTI for your readers.
With the introduction of speedier Internet access, our company became
interested in changing over from dial-up to DSL. Geography dictated that
we utilize the services of a private ISP, in conjunction with COVAD and
Verizon, to secure slow but reliable DSL service. In addition, the cost
was, considering the access speeds, quite high.
The recent "big blackout" caused us to lose our service for three days and
precipitated a review of our DSL options. The GTI offer was almost 4 1/2
times the speed at one-half the monthly cost. Although there were concerns
about installation problems, we run a Novell network with an integrated
router/hub set-up, we were assured by GTI's technical support that once the
line was ready, the router would be shipped with all the necessary
additional hardware, software and instructions.
The changeover to GTI was the easiest installation this office has ever
experienced. Technical support walked us through the entire process, which
took less than one-half of an hour.
Our company has been connected via GTI for almost three weeks without any
start-up problems or incident.
Based upon our experience, we wholeheartedly recommend GTI as a high-speed
DSL provider.

These folks got me set up fast - helped me with all the Verizon "issues", got me the static IP I needed, and best of all - the rep showed up on-time and knew exactly what he was doing! What a relief!
I've been using the service for over a year now, no drops in service, excellent speeds. I am very happy! Yes, I'm paying more but I get the level of service and support I need, so it's money well spent.
As 2003 comes to a close I can report that I still love this service! Not a single problem. Wish I could say that for my computer.

We moved to GTI when our then current ISP (Rythms) went "belly up". We were really in a bind and GTI responded quickly to get us back on the Internet during a time of very high demand. They even installed us on a Sunday! I wonder if that's becaus ewe are a church?
