GTI saved our bacon with this one -- we had no way to connect our office in Massachusetts... Verizon told us they couldn't help us, and HarvardNet cancelled our order and dropped out of the DSL biz days before the circuit was due to be completed. Amazingly, GTI told us they could arrange DSL service for us in Massachusetts. They pushed all the other companies involved until it got done.
They supplied us with a 768k DSL circuit and some static addresses, and had Network Access Solutions install the DSL router locally. They have always given us great service in New Jersey, and now we have it in Massachusetts, as well.

The DSL installation was to replace ISDN lines at 1/4 the cost. ISDN Service with GTI was always fantastic. Quick resolution of problems, always sound technical advice, always a quick call/e-mail back. We use GTI for all our business services including T1 service to another office. That's been up and NEVER interupted for over a year.
The DSL installation went almost flawlessly. The lines were in place when promised and the installation tech showed up on time and ready to go. We had a minor problem with the lines which was corrected in a day and then we were up and running.
We chose GTI and the DSL service due to the business needs here. We need multiple static IP addresses. GTI was able to route the existing ip's to the new service with no interruption. GTI handles our mail, DNS and routing of a class C to the office besides the DSL. I wouldn't change it for any amount of $$.

We do alot of secure (SSL) applications on line, and we were using a dialup, when we had alot to do it would take forever. We have cut down this time in half with our DSL line. Its like night and day. The service is fast and we have had no problems at all. From what GTI said install could be awhile, but we were up in just under a month, from what I have been told this is pretty fast. Overall we are very happy with the service.

When we first ordered a DSL connection, GTI wasn't yet providing the service. Finally, after a six month harrowing experience with Bell Atlantic/Verizon DSL service which for some reason couldn't seem to maintain a steady reliable connection, I contacted GTI to see if they could help me as they have been my ISP since i started on the internet back in 1994. We replaced our existing Verizon ADSL service with a 256K SDSL line. Since being activated two weeks ago, we have been connected without interruption. What a pleasure. The entire process was smooth and simple. Everything happened exactly as GTI said it would, and within the given time frame. The people at GTI are knowledgeable and friendly. It's business the way it should be. No fast talking, no fine print, no false promises. For the record, we are a business customer, and connnectivity is important. It's not like sitting at home surfing the web. We need what we need when we need it. Now GTI is providing the speed and reliahbility we have been seeking. Keep up the good work.

We were a small business using 28K modems and older machines. GTI came in and brought us into the 21st century. They jazzed up our old machines with a little memory and now using the internet is a great experience..not the cumbersome job it use to be.

The installation was within a reasonable time, the staff was knowledgeable and courtious (and even answered questions about other computer issues) and once in, I would never go back to dial-up. These guys really know what they're doing

We've been on for approx 1 1/2 months. To date, there has been no problems or interuptions in service. We are at 384 up & down. Line speed is fast and consistant. Cost of $240 includes web hosting. Price should go down over time.
GTI is a good, hands-on ISP. They also designed and built our company web site, which came out really good - they put some cool stuff in it. If we had to go through the whole DSL, web design and web hosting process again, we definately would use GTI again. They do good work.

Make No Mistake About It, WHO You buy Your DSL From makes all the Difference in the World.
Bell Atlantic - Verizon You have NO Business In This Business.
Global Telecom Had Me Up and Running Like You'd Expect, in Less Than Five Minutes. Plus I Got my own Static IP. Equipment Installed was a Lucent DSLPipe, works great!! Unlike Bell Atlantic, there was NO Phone Que For Technical Assistance Cramming their SpeedStream 3060 into Windows.
Actually It Only took less than Five Minutes with the GTI people, For Real !
