I was on Fidalgo initially when I moved to Mount Vernon, but left them for Comcast when it became available. Since Comcast took issue with my personal mailserver, and threatened to cut off my service if I didn't remove it, I went back to Fidalgo for DSL. While I had ordered a 1.5/384 package based on Verizon's line measurements, it had to be changed to 1.5/128 due to my line "growing" by nearly 10,000 feet in a week. All in all, it's been a pretty good ISP to be with.

I signed up with Cascade ISP on September 2000 (which eventually merged with Fidalgo), and I've been happy with the service so far. I've had a few times in the past 2 years where service had temporairily gone down (due to hardware problems on my end, or my telco's end, or the ISP's end, or sometimes the upstream provider's end), but their tech support is very helpful. For gaming, I usually get ping times in the double digits - very good.

Update: I've experienced no downtime within the past 2 months, so it looks like they're stabilized everything.
