Ok so you have never heard of Waveform Technology? Yea neither had I.
I signed up with them about a year ago to Co-locate a server for a project at work, turns out we did not need it (as I figured) so I took it over.
$50/month for 1TB of transfer WOW!
No really I did not typo.
I wanted to give a big thanks to them, my server s*it the bed tonight after hours and Bill still went in to reboot it.
Really, if you ever wanted a server of your own out there and did not want to drop the small fortune ev1 or someone else has, give these guys a call.
Sure they don't have remote power outlets and all the cool monitoring gizmos but they do provide a great value service.

| Waveform Technologies Yeah, well, they haven't returned my phone call for two days now - and that was to their SALES department. I can't imagine what it must be like trying to get support after the fact. That kind of turnaround would put me out of business if a server was offline.
They must have more business than they need. | |

| waveform I have some friends that have co-located servers at waveform and have been happy. We tried to purchase a dedicated server about a year or so ago and they promised to have it deployed, they didn't come through with the promise, and also never even contacted us. So we canceled the order. We tried again recently to inquire about a server, figuring we'd give them a year to hopefully straighten up and we never heard anything. So either they are ignoring us for the last deal that fell through, or they don't want/need the business. Their website seems dead now, so it's hard to say what's going on with them.

They had a power outage and were down for a LONG time.
Had a real hard time getting ahold of them, then they finally checked my server and the power supply was shot.... hmmmm
I have been trying to get my server and firewall back without success, wish I knew someone in Detroit who could go pick it up.
Been tempted to call the Police and get it recovered, they are not returning my calls/emails.
My firewall is still up, I can get logged into it.
AND I still get bills however I am not paying them!

My server is down and has been for the past hour or so.
A few months ago they place apparently got struck by lightning, so it was down. Then a fiber cable got cut by some construction near the facility and it was down again. Now it's down and I don't know why and my server admin can't get through. I really don't know about these guys... | |

No email other than the DHL notification.
They needed a certified check, what a PITA.
I ended up going to the airport to bail it out of jail so it is home now.
I guess I am happy to have my server back however I can no longer reccomend Waveform, even if just for a somewhat non critical need.
