This internet is awesome. I usually have one of the lowest pings when playing games. It is usually around 30. I'm sure it helps that the tower is 3 miles away. We got the basic biz package for the same price as the residential and we download and upload at 1.5Mbps. We usually are running at 1Mbps - 1.5Mbps. The weather doesn't affect it at all. It slows down just a little bit at night, but its hardly noticible.

It's better than dial-up
I almost always seem to have the highest ping when playing games.
I'm thinking about trying cable to get faster ping with games.

I really only got this connection to facilitate internet game play. I routinely am the slowest person on the game servers and am kicked often. It's very frustrating and would like to have a better connection with out shelling out 75$ a month.

Horrible reliability, slow upload (not even half of the advertised speed)
No way would I recommend DYBB to anyone.

Well, for the first week everything was fine, and then it all went downhill from there. I ordered my service at the end of Sept and was up and running by Oct 2. The first downtime occured just 9 days after I was up and running. It also lasted for 2.5 days and over a weekend to boot. Here's the list of downtimes and such that I kept a track of, because I was not going to pay full price on the bill and I wanted some kind of record of the downtimes.
OCT
Sat 11th was off and on all day
Sunday 12th down all day until Monday 13th at about 5pm Tech replaced modem changed freq.
Wednesday 22nd down 12:00AM came back up overnight
Wednesday 22nd down 8:00PM until Thursday 23rd at 12:00pm. Tech call changed freq
Saturday 25th down at 3:30pm till 26th at 2:50pm still very unstable
Sunday 26th down at 7:00pm till Mon 27th 9:20am tech came and changed freq again. Said we have our own tower.
Tuesday 28th through Friday 31st usually works halfway decent at night, dead slow, or not at all during the day.

NOV.
Saturday 1st down at 7:00pm- Monday 10th, today they come get their equipment. However it did come back up once for about 4 hours on Friday the 8th.

Called them Monday Nov 3rd and that was when the “tech” recommend they just discontinue service. They are having interference problems at the location of the tower. Why it's not affecting everyone on that tower, I don't know, he told me that they've had to do that with a few customers.

Did the tech offer to let you out of the early term fee?

Re: Fee's

Yea, they ended the contract early, not me, so I didn't have to pay the early termination fee.
