Been meaning to put this up here for years. Felt bad when i see they only have 4 other reviews. Like the others said, you can't say enough about them
The cost and days to live are estimates, only wait was for Qwest of course. Cost includes my 5 IP addresses.
Been with them for years, the original equipment was the good old cisco 675 which i have since replaced with a 678. They support the 1.5/1M speeds at same price, but as i don't download much i left mine alone and still have the old 640k non-interleaved CAP? with low ping times instead. They support upto a 7/1 speed tier now and verizon customers also. Very solid low-key ISP.
There seems to be a blip in service some nights for minute or two is all. I think it was related to a backup and the fact i am not on DMT. (our similiar office setup nearby with Qwest had similiar issues) The only times (2 in several years?) I called for help, they were great. They checked what was wrong and called me right back. They even helped with a question regarding my Qwest setup at work! Try that with the cable co, hehe.
The ** next to unlimited are not explained on website, but no known restrictions. Website is kinda dated tho
Last time i checked several game servers they link to were still up but mostly empty. Too bad i bet they would rock with a 19ms ping !
Expensive? Sure, but most of my money goes to the good guys at least. The IPs are kinda spendy. Slow? Well it IS qwest underneath, hehe. I love my lower ping on old setup tho as i play MMORPG and race games, the smaller fast pipe works well for me so i left it as is.

I ordered Qwest DSL and Cutting Edge Communications 3 years ago. Service has been great. I currently have the 1536K/1024K service and regularly get 2000K.
They are supporting the new 1.5Mb service at no extra charge.

I was a dial-up customer originally. When DSL became available, I made the switch. CET worked well with the phone company and I was on line shortly after. Three years or so later still rock solid performance. Ordered the 640/256 and get close to that consistently. For an extra charge, we have 5 static IPs. Using the Cisco 675 that Qwest provided originally, and still going strong.

"Cant really think of any at all"

Cet.com has to be the best ISP I have used so far, though that doesn say much really since Ive only used Qwest.net before them. If you still can see my horror story on them under ISP reviews. Cet has always answered their phone very quickly, got answers to me at least within an hour....they will even call you back if something will take longer than a few minutes. I've never had a problem last more than a couple hours. Well not even that cause I havent really had any problems cept when I forgot to pay em, DOH! Staff is always friendly, never an attitude problem, they want to keep your business and it shows. If you using any other ISP in the area and your unhappy switch to these people, you wont regret it. They even have other customers that run game servers so your pings are almost always low, and with only up to 4-5 hops on the servers already running. The games I know are running are Q2, Q3, and Counter-Strike. There used to be a UT deathmatch server up but dont know if it still or not. DSl speeds rank about 82-83% max line speeds (which is dang good!). Stability is at about 99%.

That monthly cost is for my circuit from Qwest at 1.2 down/1 up ($80/month), and my ISP charges from Cutting Edge with 5 IP's included (about $40/month). I gotta really sweet deal!
What can I say...these guys rock! The few times I've called with questions, I not only got quick and knowlegable answers, it's what I didn't get that really surprised me...I did NOT get put on hold. In fact, it's not uncommon for the owner to answer the phone! These guys are eager to please and it's obvious their customer service and support is a #1 priority for them.
So far in my 4-5 months with them, my service has been excellent with one exception of when some fiber got cut near the Bonneville Dam. Was down for a day, but that weren't their problem...as far as I can tell.
Overall, I would give these guys a rating of 10 if I could. Especially after dealing with @home and Qwest in the past!
Keep up the good work guys!
