9/14 Been with them for years now. Still great service!

No complaints for Olypen. Q-link sucks!

Olypen people are very willing to work with you to get you connected. Unfortunately you still (if you need DSL) have to work with Century Link here. Century Link has messed up my accounts so bad they had to start all over from scratch. Olypen office personnel spent many hours dealing with them for me to get things up and going back correctly.

Good "MLPPP over multiple DSL lines"
Bad "Still limited by CenturyLink's overloaded DSLAMS"
Overall "Better than CenturyLink"

The cost is just for this ISP.
CenturyLink charges are extra for the lines. No longer use CenturyLink as the ISP.

Dual 1.5 Mbps/896Kbps DSL lines, using MLPPP with a Linksys WRT54GS v4 router, Tomato/MLPPP firmware and two Zyxel PK5000Z modems.

Fastpath enabled on both lines (interleaving disabled), low pings.

Tech support is in Sequim, WA.

MLPPP works great, get a single 2.5 Mbps download stream, 1.5 Mbps upload.
Get web space on both lines.

The downside, still limited by CenturyLink's terrible oversold DSLAMS.

I got my Olypen cable service at the beginning of this month and even though the tech support was a little late he was very helpful in setting up the service and everything. Most of the time I'm connecting (depending on which website I do a speed test) somewhere between 13 and 15 mbps download and around 750 kbps upload speed. The plan I'm on is 10 mbps down/ 768 kbps up. The only complaint that I have is that on the weekdays between 6 and 10pm my connection is 2 to 6 mbps down tops. But other than that I'm happy with the service.

Good "Quick set up, good mail server"
Bad "Great company, techs needed to learn MAC OS for mail set up"
Overall "IMHO one of the best choices for a dial up ISP on the peninsula"

I had Olypen for over 3 years as my ISP, never a problem. Good spam blockers in the Email server, and no contracts-month to month service. Also had nationwide access numbers.
