I've been using Butler Networks for my home/office DSL connection since the
first of the year, when DirecTV DSL dropped me, and I've been completely
satisfied! He, Bill Butler, actually responds quickly to my email
questions!

I had a small problem in the beginning, but it was my fault. Now things are fine. The service is a little slower than I exptected, but that too is being resolved by adding larger pipes at the ISP. (This is a good thing!) I called on a Friday and ordered the service and was up and running by the following Thursday! Previously, I had DirecTV DSL and actually never noticed any down time during the switch. Now that's service! I've had Bellsouth, DirecTV, Comcast, AOL, and now Butler Networks and I'm happy where I'm at. At the rate of service that i'm getting now, if I switch again, it won't be because i've made the decision to. I would recommend this service to anyone.

I have used a variety of Internet Service Providers over modem, ISDN, cable and DSL and have experienced a range of quality. Intermedia cable being the absolute worst for support and Telocity DSL for being completely flakey.
My experience with Butler.net has been nothing but excellent. They got me running quickly and were even able to get BellSouth to track down a problem on my DSL line where Bell had left some test equipment. That may not sound like much, but having someone else negotiate problems with BellSouth for you is a huge help. My previous DSL ISP just said it wasn't their problem.
Other problems have always been resolved quickly, including replacing my DSL modem on a couple occassions when it was blown by lightning.
The support alone has been worth it, but with a reasonable price and static IPs, no one else in town comes close.
