Awful, awful, awful!

Last summer (' 99) they service took weeks longer to install than promised. Then our first sales person and his boss misrepresented the
availability of dialup service for when we travel and want access to email,
internet. It took us months for them to set it up. In December all dialup
service ended without notice, and explanations have been infrequent and
misleading. Now I'm told that local POP service will not occur until summer
(6 months after it went down). They've given us a couple of 800 numbers to
call into for dialup service, but they are overloaded most of the time and
speed crawls with lots of disconnects.

DSL Service has been okay. Speed is slower than contracted for. We've
experienced a few failures, and when we report them, they seem surprised and tell us: "no one else has called in." Updates are rarely initiated and we have to call them to find out what's happening. Lots of excuses, and rarely do they
accept responsibility.

We're moving on.
