"Constant 550kb/sec d/l speed. Never goes down. Great tech support."
"Customer Service people not always friendly"
"Awesome ISP overall. Wont ever go back to Rogers."

I can download regularly at 550kb/sec, and Ive seen up to 650kb/sec. Almost double the top speed you can occasionally get from Rogers.

Setup was the easiest thing ever. They gave me a modem, a cable splitter, and a cord. All I had to do was put the splitter on my TV cable line and plug the modem into it. No problems, I was on the net within 2 hours from the time I ordered.

Other than occasional maintence shutdowns from 4am - 6am the service never goes down.

I have never had to wait on hold when calling tech support. The tech support people are usually very friendly and always solve problems quickly (note: I have not once had to call tech support about the service being down)

The only thing I can complain about is the front desk people usually aren't too friendly or happy to help you.

Although they offer excellent speeds, they like to block ports to prevent users from running servers (eg. Mail servers on port 25, FTP servers on port 21, Web servers on port 80).

If I can find an ISP which doesn't block my ports, why should I stay with Mountaincable?

"Fast, reliable service, excellent tech support, fast service calls"
"No higher tier service other than the 2MB service, only 1 IP available, dynamic"
"If you are in their service area, Get it, you won't regret it!"

It was a seamless operation, I called them up, ordered the appointment, and they came out 3 days later and they set up the modem and everything went good for the 1st day, then there was a problem, I called them up, and they had someone out THE SAME DAY, roughly 4 hours after I called in and they fixed everything up right away and its been flawless ever since. The service is only a Dynamic IP but I haven't seen my IP change since I've got the modem. I would highly recommend it to anyone!

I have dealt with many low and high speed internet services in my line of work. The alternatives to eXpress are fair to pretty good, and they all seem to be competitive within themselves, but eXpress offers by far the most reliable service that I have seen.

The staff is very helpful when dealing with any problem that might occur at the client's end, and in getting things fixed in the rare instance where it is their end. I cannot say enough good things about the service.

The installation was done in a very short time after the technician arrived on time. Although a fixed IP is not guaranteed, I have not had it change on me for months, a real bonus when I need to get back to my computer from the outside world. Again, all I can say is great service and great performance.

I've been a business customer of MountainCable Vision going on 4 years now. My experience with them has been nothing but perfect. Static IPs with a Cisco UBR 900 series with VOIP support at 1mb/sec upload and download dedicated bandwidth. Teamed up with fast installation, technical support, and turn around times you can't go wrong!
