I have been with Nildram for nearly 2 years .. I was on their std 512K service and it was great .. I upgraded to 1M when BT started allowing extended reach.. Works perfectly. Nildram just simplified all their DSL plans .. there is a choice of 3 now.... 2M (50G fair use policy), 512K (50G fair use) and 2M (1G fair use ..aka low user )... they regraded every existing user to the 2M 50G service and dropped the price for us all
All my Family who is in DSL are on Nildram and all have no issues with them ....

nildramalso note the 50gb limit is only counted from 8am - 12 midnight. out of these hours are uncapped. also any unused cap can be carried over to the next month (one month carry over only) | |

Excellent ordering process, kept me informed, reliable fast internet. Does not supply modem, unlike other ISP's. Excellent ISP, best I have used so far.

After using BTopenworld for over a year, I was pleasantly surprised at the service I was getting from this ISP. The same 512/256 ADSL line was ordered, at originally a higher price than the current price of £26 a month. I was also pleased to see that there were no 12 month binding contracts, but rather a monthly renewal.
The order process went smoothly, they kept me up-to-date on everything going on and sent me emails. I then received an email informing of the day of activation, and they kept to their word. I had also already recieved 2 microfilters a good few days before activation day.
The connection is never down, and has relatively lower pings compared to my old ISP in online gaming. However, I purchased a better modem then the one I used with my old ISP so that may have had an impact on this outcome. The fact they didnt supply a modem may have made it a more expensive package, but I actually benefited because I was going to buy a particular modem anyway no matter what ISP.
The services are quite good, with 5 mail boxes and 100 mb of email space aswell as 100mb of web space to boot.
Support is also very good, I recently moved house and moved the adsl with me, and fantastically this was done with no additional installation costs, and I was able to smoothly move in a matter of approximately 5 days. On activation day I noticed the adsl was not working, so called support, who offered enough advice and troubleshooting to identify the problem being at my home. I then noticed that the new house had 2 phone lines and I was trying with the non-bt line, so I quickly plugged the modem into the right socket, and adsl was working!
All in all, I am happy with this ISP and will definately be staying with them for a long time.

UK review. Ordered 512 K connection, which was setup within the 7 days they initially specified. Was sent router and microfilters through the post (ie: no engineer visit !) and they arrived within 3 days. Was emailed a "Get you started" document which contained everything except the DNS settings, but tech support gave me the answer in under a minute of me dialling them. I think they're probably a touch expensive for a UK private connection, but I went for them on the strength of the reviews in the UK press and so far my connection has flown !
Telco was British Telecom - unfortunately don't have any alternative.
