Value for money:

We recently moved from California to Texas.

DSL was not an option in our area being 47,000 cable feet away from the
CO. My home business requires a reliable and fast (>500Kbps) download
with a nominal 128kbps upload. The only solution was ISDN for upload and
    Satellite for download.

We contacted QUIK INTERNET down here and had the ISDN and Satellite
installed within 14 days. They were the ones that found a solution for us, gave us all the phone numbers to call and suggested the best parts to purchase. All their information was quite helpful.

So far, the downloads are super reliable and fast @ 800kbps. The upload
is fine at 128Kbps. Keep in mind I do not play online games so the minor
latency increase (about 112ms TTL) isn't a factor for my business. This connection uses the AMC-6 rather than the SatMex satellite and works extremely well with
consistent speeds all day & night.

The only problem we encountered was the software running on a USB satellite modem. My USB port was odd or old and the software would not function. They overnighted us a PCI card modem and the system worked immediately and without problem.

Installation costs ran around $740.00 (ISDN & Satellite), the 3-Com ISDN
    modem/router was $300.00.

This was the only solution available out in the boonies where we are and I must say the folks at Quik Internet were most helpful and solved my problems of home business internet access.
