Smooth Ride.

Connect2 is a small local company based in Provo, Utah, that provides ISP
service for people with (Qwest) dsl, and dial-up. I give them top ranks in
everything. Any time I've needed technical assistance, they've been able to
help me. Their customer support people are always courteous and interesting
to talk to. The one time when I was having serious connectivity problems,
the CEO himself called me to smooth things over and keep me as a customer.
I've had them as my ISP for almost 3 years now. In the early days, my dsl
would go down about once a week. But they've really shaped up the couple of
years. I have had maybe 2 hours in the last year and a half where I wasn't
able to train up.
Also, they're one of the least expensive ISP's I've ever seen. Dial up
access is only $14.95 a month for unlimited usage. DSL access is $16.95 a
month, ditto(it's about $49/mo including the Qwest line charge). They have no usage caps, no pop-ups, no banners, or anything.
They even prefer to have you use a regular DUN connection to sign in, rather
then putting out expensive and superfluous software.
They provide 1 web-based email address, and a dynamic (dsl) IP address,
though more email addresses and static IP's are available for a very small
fee. I highly recommend them to anyone who has Qwest DSL in Salt Lake or
Utah Valley, or anyone who wants cheap reliable dial up. I've heard the
horror stories people have had with Qwest DSL and various other ISP's, and
I'm just so relieved that I went with Connect2 instead.
So if you're dsl shopping, and looking for an isp other then MSN, give
Connect a call! (Oh, and they have a sign-up-a-friend promotion, so be sure
to let them know who recommended you! )
