    Poor T1 Service

This customer did indeed receive poor T1 service, but that T1 service came directly from XO Communications. Riptide Wireless was unable to provide it's Wireless Mesh Service to this location, so we suggested a T1 from XO. Customer agreed and we had XO install the T1 circuit. This customer has a right to be upset as the XO T1 did "bounce" and Riptide would call XO to report the trouble. XO would call SBC and SBC would give the standard response of "no problems found". Riptide billed the customer at it's cost and supported the troubled line for the entire time for zero profit just to help the customer out. We went well beyond the normal call of duty and this public complaint is our reward??!!?.

Also, the company is larger than 2 people. Our investors see that we are fully staffed and are actually now one of the largest providers of Wireless Service in Orange County.

"Outstanding installation & tech support - very fast speeds with quick ping times. I am running VOIP & a web server no problems."
"No downside so far, but hey it's wireless & bleeding edge tech so just don't run your Mothers respirator on the line."
"I have been online since 1991 - lived all over and been thru dozens of ISP's - this is by far my best experience yet."

"Quick install, synchronous speeds, small antennas"
"haven't seen any yet."
"Internet Access, clear and simple."

As Information Services Coordinator of Regents Point, I've been looking for options for about 2 years here. My goal? Provide Internet access for our residents. We started with the cable company, but we already had satellite television for our residents. We even called them to see if they would be willing to rebuild our cable network. So, cable was out. Turns out that is hideously expensive.

We looked into Satellite, but that required wiring as well.

T1s were easy to find, though providing a method of distributing that T1 is much harder. There were many companies willing and able to offer T1 service, but when I told then that we needed to distribute it to our residents over existing or new wire, they went silent or referred me to wiring companies.

Even wireless T1s were easy to find. But again, when it came to distribution, none of them had an easy or reasonably priced solution. All of them pointed to a wired or 802.11b wireless infrastructure, which would still involve trunk wiring.

Enter Riptide Wireless. They were the first firm that we encountered to offer a turnkey solution. They installed, tested, and serviced our first broadband connection here at Regents Point. They didn't introduce delays anywhere. In fact, once we ordered the service, it was installed the next day. Then they installed an antenna for one of our residents and in 15 minutes, he had Internet access.

They are definitely a can-do company and they move fast. I highly recommend them and their services, as they are a customer service oriented company.

Fast install. Reliable Mesh network. Great tech support. Faster speeds than expected. About a third of the price for comparable T1.

We host a large website and need fast synchronos service and a reliable provider.

    Static IP

We had DSL and it was too slow, riptide came out here, and installed that bad boy wireless broad band on our roof. Now we download way faster and upload faster than T1 speeds at half the cost.

Riptide is a smaller company so there is no spider web of corporate departments to sort though to get something done, you just call them and talk to usually the same person every time, 1000x better than cable / dsl corp. giants get this.

We also got a static IP too!
