Wireless DSL!! Hainesville.Net has FREED ME!! Wireless DSL no BS!! Hainesville.Net Hey, Everyone jumping on the ComCast broadband wagon or those with Satellite TV (keep it wireless!). I have hooked up with a Wireless DSL provider whose service and support are excellent. I am talking about Hainesville.Net and their offerings. An excellent choice if you ask me. Look for posts from Fastncrazy. I am in the Cranberry Lakes subdivision and their access point is in Round Lake. Please go to »www.hainesville.net and check out a great alternative to wired DSL/Cable broadband. I have an antennae the size of phone book (maybe a little smaller) mounted in my attic! Yes, you read that right! My antennae is mounted not outside but inside, completely side stepping subdivision mounting rules. After a short period of teething issues, none of which prevented me from surfing the Internet, all functions are working excellent. I can send and receive email via the web based access area or use MSOutlook! I can also connect to my place of business (which uses a very specific form of VPN over IPSec) with no problems, for those professionals who might be looking. If anyone in the area has a question I'll do my best to answer it, just post a reply, but better yet give them a yell at (847)270-7910. There are different packages to choose from so be specific in your discourse with the tech as to your worries, expectations and desires. No equipment rental, 1yr. contract, and a very helpful support group. Give them a try. Well, I'm back again about a year after contracting for service from Hainesville.net (Connect4Less). I have no qualms about recommending their service as I have had consistantly good performance and tech support. No equipment problems and so few service interuptions that I get a headache trying to remember the last one! I signed up for 1Mb service and a static IP address and do not regret it! I sure hope that those looking in my area for alternatives keep an open mind and check them out!
