My Other Reviews

·AT&T U-Verse
After doing weeks of research I decided to go with Realwebhost. I did what people on BBR and Webhostingtalk forums suggested. Contact there sales and support and see how fast a response I got. Been in business for 3 years as realwebhost and 4 years more as a reseller.

I signed up on Jan. 17th 2004 got all my setup info about 3 hours later. Wasn't checking email so probably sooner then that. I registered my domain with godaddy.com and it took 20 hours to switch DNS stuff.

Reason I got this site is for personal use. I take a lot of movies of events for our volunteer group and when we go dog sledding. I need a good amount of space and bandwidth. I haven't had much time to put a site together. I put some movies up from a winterfest a couple weeks back.

This is all very new to me and they have been fantastic about responding to noob questions from me. They also have there own support forums on there website which is nice. A pretty extensive FAQ system as well. They post when part of the server get updated like CPanel.

3 days my site got 3GB of traffic and it didn't flinch at all with all the downloads. I was very impressed once I saw all the stats!!

I will update once I have more time to mess around and start doing more work to it. I can't say enough about these guys. There site is »www.realwebhost.net

Realwebhost just got some brand new servers a couple weeks ago and move was pretty flawless couple kinks but nothing major at all. Service has been outstanding so far! One friend signed up and I am managing her site for her.

Update - 6/2/04

I had another friend want a website and had him go through realwebhost as well. I am managing that site as well but haven't done anything to it yet. We are still designing it. Another friend just transfered his site from powersurge to realwebhost and went very smoothly.
