This is an update to my original review.

Originally this ISP really had some major issues but over the last year or so they have really pulled their act together. I'm not sure WHAT was changed but something did.

Speeds are far more consistant and the network rarely feels bottlenecked.

I would now say they are a good ISP for those looking to be able to surf the web and do updates at good speeds.

I would not however from mine and a friends testing suggest a wireless ISP if you plan on doing lots of BIG downloads.

A bit pricey but considering where I live its worth every penny.

Well at first I was doubtful they would ever get back with me. I had left 3 messages on their voicemail to order their service installation. On my 4th call in 2 weeks a live person answered and took my order. I was set for 5 days from the date of the call for installation.

I waited till about 30min past the installation time (9am was when it was scheduled) then called to confirm the order. They were a bit confused, and seemed unable at first to find my appointment, but then was able to. They apologized for the delay and said the tech was just running a bit behind on the orders that day and would be at my location by 11am.

About 11:30am the tech showed and began the installation.

The only installation issue that came up was that the software would not authenticate an IP address to the tower I was attempting to hit. The tech attempted various things, and called into the office for advice. After a bit more trouble shooting he and I noticed that the TCP/IP was not installed in the profile… needless to say that corrected the issue and I was contacted. The only other thing was he has to return to secure the coaxial cable to the house as he had the wrong cable holds.

For the 1st hour I was really doubting that I had made the right choice as my downloads were in the range of 100kb and uploads were 2kb. So I re- authenticated the IP address and have had neck breaking speeds since.

Its my second day and I am overly pleased with the service. There was short time where my tower was down, maybe 15min but I called within 5min of it and they were already working the issue they said.

So going from ISDN that was supposed to be 128k (where I was only getting 80k max) to the 256k 247365 Wireless Inc (sometimes hitting 600k+) I would say this was well worth the wait.

I was informed they are at this time doing upgrades to boost service speed for their customers, and I look forward to that.

So in closing, while they seem to be suffering from growing pains, and might not be the most professional ISP, they got me hooked up and the speeds rock.

After 3 attempts of filling out the request form on their site which
was unsucessful (had to persuade them to take info over the phone), 3 phone
calls, and after I ran the cable myself which saved 100.00 on the
install fee (would have been 450.00), they finally came and did the
install. After I was up and running, I checked my speed and was getting
less than half the speed I was paying for. I spent the next month
sending emails and calling them to finally get near the speed I was
paying for. Days later I started having Problems logging into some of
my web base services. They had change their T1 provider and had blocked
the ports which those programs use to login, which they fixed. From
then to the current time there are ongoing issues which causes web pages
to partially load, file downloads to time out, and packets getting lost or
dropped. They say that they are having a learning curve on getting the
network configured properly and are working on resolving the issues,
which at this time seems to be getting worse. My speed has dropped to
less then half again, their response was to lower me to the 256K/256K
service level since they are unable to provide the 512K/512K service
level and to credit me the difference, which they did. There are times that the service
is so unresponsive that I use my dialup modem to get work done. There
were around 4 outages (a 24hr because a piece of equipment on their
tower failed) and the others were because they were making unscheduled
maintenance/configuration changes or radio reboots). At this point I am
looking for another provider as this service is SubPar and unreliable.
I have had all forms of internet access (DSL, Cable, FiberDSL, ISDN)
although not at my current address or I would have already switched,
their service rates the lowest I've had so far. At this point I am
unable to recommend their service to anyone.


Seems like they have fixed most of the issues except not knowing when their equipment stops working, I still have to call and tell them there is a problem. Connection is more stable, file downloads are completing, speed is a little more consistent.


Service has very much improved. Speed and connection reliability is much more consistent. When there is a problem, they get on it and have it fixed in a reasonable amount of time. If you need service, give them a try.
