$73 per month about 7 days Qwest "Extremely reliable connection, good extra services, static IP included with premium package" "A little pricey" "Damn good ISP, you definitely get your money's worth."

So I've got their 1.5/896 package, and all I can say is that it owns! I got their service at the discounted rate from their website and I am extremely satisfied with the service after having them for a month.
The day that Qwest had my circuit active I called them up, and they had me up and running 15 minutes later. They even chatted with me on the phone for a few extra minutes to answer some of my questions about the company that weren't related to my order. Try and get that with Qwest! I chose to use my own DSL modem (a Zoom X5 5554) and I have not had my connection drop unless it was by my own hand. The inclusion of a static IP with their complete package is a nice plus. The fact that they don't care that you run a server (or several) is also a very nice plus.
Overall, if you are in 970, 720 or 303, I would highly recommend AxisInternet for an ISP. Well worth the extra few dollars you will pay for them...with these guys, you get what you pay for.

Five year follow up:
Yes, I am still with Axis Internet and have to say that I couldn't be happier with their service. As a matter of fact I am considering upgrading to their higher speed package, since I don't want to go with Comcast, and FIOS is not available in my area. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Axis Internet!

$41 per month about 5 days Qwest "Internet the way you want it... Static IP, Servers allowed" "Qwest is the circuit provider and they're a little more expensive than I'd like" "They've done everything I've asked and haven't balked one bit"

Moving from a provider I've had for 5 years was a little scary for me since I've have a mail server for my own domain. Being able to have a static IP and run my own server was my biggest issue. Most ISP that deal with Qwest tend to ban this type of activity and I was a little hesitant with trusting anyone that does business with Qwest. So far so good.
Coordination of the install was flawless. Everything came together when they said it would.
The upstream on this connection rocks. That's all I can say. Sending pictures to an online photo processor is no longer a chore and fairly enjoyable now.
Qwest turing up the circuit was the biggest deal. It took Simon at Axis about 5 minutes to figure out the cicuit was not setup right. A second truck was rolled, showed up within the hour and the problems were resolved.
I would have no problem recommending these guys to anyone.
Thanks Axis.

I have had DSL for over 10 years, using Ma bell, MSN and others and have not been happy for years with eather the service, support for restriction in service.
2 months ago a friend told me about AxisInterent so I figured what the hell I'll give them a call and see how I felt after talking to someone. I was SHOCKED! they took the time to talk to me like I was a real person, explaining thier services and how everything work and what I was and wasn't going to be able to do. In a nut shell not spamming, they would even open port 25 if I wanted to run my own mail server.
I told them I wasn't sure what I ws going to do butg it all sounded good. I was expecting at this point I was going to get the hard core sales pitch. I didn't, instead I was told to think about it and if I have any other questions or would like to give them a try they would be happy to help me out.
I thought about it for a couple days and called a couple other local ISP's and I was not impressed with the responce I got to my questions. I called the guys over at Axis back, asked a couple more questions and figured I'd give them a shot. Well they had me changed over and up and running in 5 days.
WOW for the first time in over 5 years I was getting what I paid for. I was shocked and suprised and very happy. I called about 2 weeks later and asked about increasing my speed from 256k to the new 1.5mbit speeds. They said no problem and they would take care of everything. They said it would take 3-5 days and they would contact me to reboot my router and everything would be done. Again I was shocked, 2 days later they called and left me a message saying everything was taken care of and a simple reboot of my router and I'd be flying at 1.5 meg. I thought yeah right that was way to simple and easy. Well I rebooted and sure enough I was smoking.
I'm posting this message for all you Colorado people out they that are not happy with your current DSL, want to run your own server, want static IPs want to have the fredom and speed your paying for, you NEED to give these guys a try.
AxisInternet rules in my book. Keep up the good work guys
